My American Dream...

The American dream is something most all Americans strive for, having the fufilement of doing what truly makes them happy. For myself, the American Dream may differ greatly from the others. I strive to be the person people look for when they need help. With that attitude it only fits that my American Dream involves helping people, the first step in my dream is to become a criminologist, to help those who need it most, then only later in life will I completemy full dream and become a poloticain.
The first step in my llife urging to complete my American Dream is to become a criminologist. This is a major stepping stone in achieving my goal, this step can lead to many other points in my carrer, such as a member of the FBI and the BAU, a special divisn dedicated to studying the minds and methods of criminals to better understand the their thought process and tendencies. Also this can lead to a less broad career that of a detective or police officer. Even this step toward my goal is a broad one it is still a major one. A major benifit to working at a local law enforcement office would be that I would be able to see the effects of my work in the city that I work in. The next step in accomplishing my goal is a much more challenging step but possibly a more fufilling one.
The next and last step I wish to take in helping people is to become a polotician. Many seem to dislike poloticians, but is my goal is tyo change that, being livertarian is not making that daunting task any easier. The main challenge is being elected to anything, The Democrats and Republicans have always been the top dogs when it comes to polotics. Both of those parties have become acustomed to power(for the most part) and a few Americans have realized this and created the Libertarian party, although created in the 70's this party has had little succeses, thus my problems getting elected. with all that the strength I can muster, I will strive to be the first Libertarian elected Govener of a state. I would actually trry to change things for the better and change the perception of poloticans and do good for the people.
Even though my strive to help people sometimes causes more problems than solves I still hope to become a Criminologist and then a Politician and help as many people as I can.

This country  has many political parties that seem to never agree on anything. even though this country is a democracy there are two major parties that seem to be overwhelmingly more powerful than any other. According the the GOP even though the republicans have lost a few presidential elections it still has a major influence in congress with there rival the democratic party, both of which can never seem to agree on anything they do find one simalarity amongst themselves. Both parties are advocate for democracy but the GOP the third party, The Libertarians, are unconstitutional but all the while are teaming up with the democrats and not allowing them fair treatment in the elections. Being in the United States its rather shocking that the two parties we elected to represent us are very unconstitutional.

The new WTC

The new design of WTC 1 has an enormous amount of new features, both for that of safety and in remembrance of the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers.   Of all the features dedicated to remembering 9/11 the most intriguing has to be at the tip of the antenna, there will be a rotating beacon flashing in Morris code of the letter N for New York. In addition to the beacon the tower itself is 1776 feet tall, the tallest building in the U.S. also represents the date of independence. Amongst the dedication to the country this tower has new and some old safety features.   The the safety features include something called i-Crete a much stronger version of concrete that was used in the original tower 1. Also an astounding 45,000 tons of structural steel as much as 6 Elfie Towers. As of today the towers are set to open some time next year with their new safety features and memorabilia toward all who lost their lives in September of 2001.

Dakotah Franks: Reading Bucket List

  1.  The Rise of Nine:by Pitticus Lore, Previously I have read I am Number 4, and the second in the series The Power of Six. The earlier books in the series have been super interesting and have kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. Personally I believe That Pitticus Lore is a spectacular science fiction author and this book should have its fair share of excitement and solve some answers I still have from the first two books in the series.
  2. Speak: by Laurie Halse Anderson, This book was discovered through my English teacher who spoke highly of the author and specifically this book. When told about this book it incited my mind to wonder how a teenager could bear the challenge of not speaking, and what made her not speak, and finally what made he decide to speak again and what she has to say to the world.
  3. The Mortal Instruments(3Books):by Casandra Clare, Throughout my high school years I am always hearing my peers talking about these books. Being so popular with others my age I trust that the series is as good as it is told to by and would enjoy discovering what all the hype is about. Also I think that the fantasy aspect of this series will incite the imagination.
  4. Clockwork Angel:by Casandra Clare, These books are placed before The Mortal Instruments I feel that after reading this series there will be some questions left unanswered and that the author will answer a majority of the questions will adding a few more.I believe that if The Mortal Instruments is as interesting as it is told to be I will enjoy this prequel to the series also by Casandra Clare.
  5. Clockwork Prince: by Casandra Clare, Also by Casandra Clare, and second in a series that is set before The Mortal Instruments I honestly think that with all the hype that is surrounding this author she will not disappoint me with any of her books and that reading this will not disappoint me.
  6. The Lord of the Rings(3 books):by J.R.R Tolkien, The movies of this series are extremely entertaining and being the book its already much better than the movie. Also one of my favorite genre of books is the fantasy style and The Lord of the Rings evokes a feel oft fantasy. Being a fairly large book i feel that with all the space it takes up it must have a uncanny amount of detail.

Did the Nazi deserve pity?

In one section of the book The Sunflower the dying Nazi soldier keeps refers to pity. At this point in time Simon Wiesenthal realizes that the soldier is craving for pity from this Jew. If i was in his situation and a murder that was killing my people and was craving for pity im not sure if i could give the dying man what he wanted. Although this man seems very sincere in his plead for forgivness this is different than giving pity to a man that has caused much more harsh pain to the Jews. In turn this soldier had "dished out what he couldn't take back"

A Shamefull action

I do not think that a young woman should abort her baby simply because she is unwed. Almost every day there is a young girl that gets an abortion and kills her child. If anyone decides to let a stranger take their childs life should not have any persons forgivness. I think that obortions are a simply unforgivable act because in the process you are taking the life of a child that has not had the chance to live life and survive on its own. If anyone thinks they are reaady for sexual intercourse that person has to take the consequences seriously and not kill what would have been a child. If you take the life of an unborn child because of mistakes you made there is no reason you should be forgiven

Descriptive paragraph

As i walk through the tunnel filled with the vapor from the fog machine. In the mist of fog all I see are my team mates my brothers walking along with me. As we emerce ourselfs to the croud all i can hear is the roars of there screams ponding my ear drums. When the pace from a slow walk quickens to a jog then a run we pass the numbers of young childern eyes filled with awe hoping that one day it will be them running with freinds in the helmets and pads of the football team. As we make our way through the lines my body filled with adrenilne, running across the turf feild with the colors of our school orange, black, and white. When we find our way through the mass of fans its time for the game to begin as our brotherhood makes its way to the sidline. We finally find ourselves in the midst of the game not taking in the risk or the danger of the game just that all we worked for is on the line its time to disregard blood, sweat and tears for our team.
